Mini-Review: Influenster Carefree VoxBox

CareFree VoxBox

Before getting into this short review; for those of you who don’t know what Influenster is let me explain it quickly. Influenster is a website you can sign up for to review and read reviews of products. When I say products I mean ALL of the products. Food, fitness, makeup, hygiene, etc.Pretty much anything you can think of is reviewed. It’s pretty awesome if you’re thinking about buying something but aren’t really sure. You can read what people have said about it and even ask questions. The more you review on Influenster the more points you receive. The more points you receive the more likely it is you will receive on of their “subscription boxes.” These are called Vox Boxes. Basically they are a box with random products for you to try out for free and then review both on the Influenster website and social media. The boxes are as random as the site. I’ve seen reviews for food, personal hygiene, makeup, etc, as well as boxes that have a mix of products. If anyone is interested in checking out Influenster you can go here to check it out.

On to the box. This was my first Influenster box, woo hoo! I was a bit concerned at first when I saw that it was a CareFree box because I was afraid they were sending pads or tampons and well… I’m pregnant. So those won’t help. But alas, it was a box of panty liners. Let me tell you, pregnant women can certainly use panty liners! Also, if you’re a pregnant women on progesterone in a suppository form then you will find that you can definitely use panty liners.

I am a little picky about my feminine hygiene products and use only one specific brand, and it is not Carefree so I wasn’t expecting to like these at all. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they worked. They are thin, as they should be being liners, and the perfect length. Not to short, not to long. I tend to find panty liners are just a tad too short so they don’t end up doing the job, especially when you’re sleeping so it is nice to find a brand on the slightly longer side without being annoyingly long and in the way. They also had great hold! I’ve used liners with bad adhesive. One end will stick and the other will start flopping around all over the place, having it’s own free for all party. These stuck to where I put them and didn’t come off until I was ready for them to. Perfect. They’re also scent free. I can’t say anything bad about that. I’ve always thought scented feminine hygiene products to be very strange but I suppose this is more of a personal preference. At the end of the day I was happy with these products over all and am actually considering purchasing them when I need to go buy a new package.
